I have an antique brooch that was made by Mayer Heine.
I cannot find out any information on him.
I have had the stones appraised, but I would like to know what era it would have been made.

The problem with being listed as an 'Expert' is in truth - you can't know everything and this is one of those times when you probably know more about this than I do.
There are some connections to the name from France and other parts of Europe (search with your favorite search engine) and also with slightly different spelling such as Mayer or Meyer - so you will have to track it down best you can.
Certainly - if they are that hard to find - they can't be famous? so their work would not be collectible.
Something to consider anyway.
